Three pages, read in this order. Together they define every term the guides and the API reference use, and they settle any disagreement about wording.

• Identity and access: which key opens which surface, how scope and capability differ, and how your users sign in.
• Glossary: the binding vocabulary. A term used with one of these meanings must be this word.

The one distinction that causes the most trouble

A trunk is not a number. A number is a record inside Voicebot saying a dialable identifier belongs to an account. A trunk is the actual signalling path to your carrier. Different people configure them at different times. A system with numbers but no trunk accepts every dispatch request and never rings anybody.
